Lebron James has been stealing every NBA headline this year and we finally know what team he is going to be playing for. James decided to air his decision on ESPN recently and he shocked the world by choosing the Miami Heat. Lebron will be teamed up with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami this year and everyone is going to be betting on their games. |

Lebron James Prop Bets and Upcoming Season
Some online sportbooks have already released proposition bets for the upcoming season on Lebron James. If you don’t mind locking up some of your bankroll for the NBA season then you should definitely take a look at the prop bets available. Bodog has already released several Lebron James prop bets and I’m going to list them for you right now.
• How many points will Lebron James average? O/U 23.5 Points
• How many assists will Lebron James average? O/U 9 Assists
• How many rebounds will Lebron James average? O/U 7 Rebounds
I’m sure there will be some more prop bets open up, as we get closer to the start of the season. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Bodog offering odds on whether or not Lebron can win MVP this upcoming season. Out of the three prop bets above I would take a strong look on the over/under 7 rebounds. James has averaged over 7 rebounds for 5 out of 7 seasons in the NBA and I think he’ll be able to average over 7 again since there isn’t going to be a dominant big guy in Miami.

Miami Heat in the Spotlight
The Miami Heat is easily going to be the most popular team in the NBA this year. Whether you love them or hate them, there is no denying the fact that the media is going to be glued to South Beach. I’m sure the Heat are going to have some very insane point spreads and moneyline odds this season, which makes them a very tough team to bet on. You may want to take a look at the prop bets that’ll be available for the Heat this season rather then betting on single games.

Bodog’s current prop bets
Bodog currently has a couple prop bets out on the market, but only one of them is for next year. The other prop bet is more of a joke and I can’t see anyone wagering on it since your money would be locked up for six years.
• Total wins for the Miami Heat in 2010-2011? O/U 65 Wins
• Total championships for the Miami Heat over the next six seasons? O/U 2.5 Championships
I really can’t see the Miami Heat winning 65 games out of 82 this season even though they’re stacked with talent. They don’t have any chemistry going into the season minus their Olympic experience and I think it’ll take at least a month or two before the big three start to gel together.
Lebron James and the Miami Heat are going to be a great team to bet on and against this season. It’s hard to deny that the Heat will be exciting this season, but the big question is whether or not they can win a championship this season. I’m sure everyone in Miami is expecting nothing less then an NBA Championship in 2010-2011.
